Truth is admired and aspired to, but also often mythologized, at which point,
obviously, it ceases to be true.
The Myth can be anything from an outrageous lie to an elaborate construction with a grain of truth, or even a
misconception, and has a long standing in human history and culture. It is part of who we are as social beings
and, whether we like it or not, it will never go away.
Myths shall be Myths, let them be. What we don't want is for them to be passed as Truth.
In this zone, I will take certain slogans and buzz words in the world of beauty today, and reveal the Myth behind them. In a sense, this will be de-mythologizing the Truth and bringing out the true Myth.
The principle that supports this page is my personal motto as a consumer: Tickle My Intelligence - Don't Offend It.
The intent behind it is to inform in a simple, sensible and comprehensive way. Hopefully, this will lead you to further research and learn about different issues. The world we live in is complex, often paradoxical and confusing. This should be considered a very small help in making sense out of it.
